Some tread upon this earth
for many years
And some touch many lives
Some alight for only
a few heartbeats
And touch only a few lives.
But whether a raindrop
or a teardrop
touches the water
Both cause ripples
And
Both are missed
when the water stills

Neither is forgotten where

The Butterfly Lights Beside Us
The butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam
and for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to this world...
but then it flies on again, and although
we wish it would have stayed,
we are so thankful to have seen it at all.
